Eco Lodges

Eco lodges and accommodations have a lower carbon footprint. Sometimes they’re budget, and other times they’re luxurious.

It’s amazing that even with all our modern conveniences, we still seek out (and will pay good money) to stay in lodges that don’t have electricity, wifi and other technology. Maybe its a desire to connect with nature, and be at peace.

Not only are eco lodges better for the environment, but they make relaxing, luxury vacations. I spent my mini honeymoon in an eco-lodge, and often when my husband and I have a weekend getaway without the kids – we stay in an eco lodge.

I hope to shine the light on eco-lodges in the places that we’ve visited, and inspire people to discover all the good reasons to stay in one.
